How to update a voice greeting

There are two ways you can change your voice greeting; physically from your campus phone or soft phone and remotely from a phone other than your work phone. Both ways require you to enter a PIN# - if you do not know your PIN# contact IT for help resetting it.

From your physical campus phone or soft phone:

Press the messages button to access your voicemail. You'll be asked for your PIN, so enter it then press #.

1. For setup options, press 4.
2. To change your greeting, press 1.
3. To re-record this greeting, press 1.
4. Just follow the directions until you're finished then end the call.

Remotely from a phone other than your physical campus phone or softphone:

1. Dial your phone number and when the voicemail picks up press "*".
2. When prompted for your "ID" enter the last 4 digits of your phone number and then press "#".
3. Enter your PIN number and then press "#".
4. Follow the directions until you're finished then end the call.
