Alpha Fax Services

In January 2025, we implemented Alpha Fax Services. Soon, we will discontinue XMedius fax services and faxing from copiers and fax machines throughout the College.

Although physical fax machines are becoming less common, some industries still rely on faxing for regulatory requirements and the perceived security of faxes.

We have consolidated all phone and fax services with one carrier by updating New River's faxing solution to Alpha Fax Services. This effort is expected to ensure more reliable service with less administrative management.

Fax services are assigned to specific users who work in specific departments that typically need them. If your department isn't yet included, please contact a colleague who has access to online fax services.

Initially, these users will be in three departments (Admissions, Financial Aid, and the President's Office). We've already realized that we also need accounts for Human Resources, and we'll be adding that access soon.
