ID card procedure

To submit an ID card simply log into your My New River portal and select the link "MyPhoto ID Card" (or go to https://myphoto.newriver.edu ) on the page you land at enter your New River email address and the same password you use to access the portal. 

After logging in you will be presented with general information about yourself, including your ID number, campus location, etc. Please verify this information and if any of it is incorrect please let the help desk know before continuing to submit your request.

You will need to submit a photo headshot. To expedite your ID request, please use the following information to create your photo:

1. Use a plain light color background - we need to be able to see your face very clearly

2. The photo must include your entire head and top of your shoulders.

3. NO "duck face" or goofy faces will be accepted

4. NO filters, stickers, photoshop, etc. The picture must look like you and not be altered in any way.

After uploading your ID picture, you will also need to upload a picture of your drivers license, passport, or other verifiable state or federal issued ID photo resource that we can use to verify your identity. If you do not have any other form of photo ID, please contact our help desk for further instructions.
