Zoom features My Notes, and My Bookings
Zoom recently released more updates, including a new feature called My Notes, which is now enabled and available to you. By default, My Notes starts automatically for your scheduled meetings.
The attached screenshot summarizes the My Notes feature and includes steps to disable auto-start.
When might you want to disable My Notes auto-start in Zoom?
- If you’re scheduling a Zoom meeting that might contain discussions of sensitive information that you do not want transcribed.
- I you simply want to avoid any distractions caused by prompts from the My Notes feature during your meeting.
- If you prefer to manually enable or disable the My Notes feature for each meeting.
A second new Zoom feature is the My Bookings Pages (available under More, then Scheduler in Zoom). This personalized page can help you to streamline coordination and management of individual and team schedules while avoiding any back-and-forth emails about availability. To let others access your Zoom Bookings page, share the link with them. You can do this by sending them the link in a message or by including it in your email signature block. Your link helps those you trust to easily schedule a zoom meeting with you.
