Portal Account Management Settings

Step by Step Instructions:
To access the account management settings please click the link in the upper right hand side of the portal main page after signing in (if you are a first time user please see THIS article).
This will bring you to the following page:
Here there are several items you will want to note:
Changing your password
This is the first option presented to you when you click into the management page.
To change your password simply click the "Change your password now" link which will take you to a page that will allow you to change your password (Note: Passwords require a minimum of 8 characters, including at least 1 uppercase letter, 1 lowercase letter, 1 number and 1 symbol).
The second option you have is to manage your challenge questions
Here you can change the answers / questions you set when you first signed in or you can clear them all together and be prompted to re-submit them the next time you sign in.
The next option you have is "Registered E-mail" which is a secondary (not your New River e-mail) that can be used to receive a one time passcode should you ever have an issue with your password.
If you opted to receive your one time passcode for setting up your account via a secondary e-mail address it would be populated here and allow you to change or remove that information.
OTP Delivery Method
The next option multi-factor delivery options is to change your OTP (one time passcode) delivery method, by default the options will be "Help Desk" requiring you to contact the help desk to receive an OTP, we recommend changing this to your secondary e-mail or a mobile phone number.
When you click "Change" beside any action you will be presented with a drop down menu with either Help Desk, Mobile Authenticator, Phone or e-mail options (depends on what you have provided under each section, if you have not provided a phone number, phone will not be an option, etc...), select the method that works best for you.
Secondary Phone Number
Next you will see "Registered Phones" where you can update your phone number to be able to receive an OTP should you need one via this method.
If you opted to receive your initial OTP for setting up your account via a phone number this section will be populated with that phone number as above, allowing you to remove that phone number or add another phone number.
The last option is the Mobile Authenticator
This option allows you to download the "PortalGuard" app from your mobile devices app store to manage your account settings, change password, unlock your account, etc.
